Ingersoll Hardware Closing After More Than 100 Years

The store's liquidation sale started Tuesday and will go until the shelves are empty.

will be closing its doors soon after more than 100 years in business.

According to owner Doug Yoder, the shop with locations in Westlake and Rocky River will be running a liquidation sale until the shelves are empty.

"We'll be here as long as it takes to clear the store from wall to wall," said Westlake store employee Darryl Archer.

Customers leaving the Rocky River store on Tuesday said they were disappointed, and some were surprised at the news.

"I've been coming here for 15 years," said Frank Jerome of Fairview Park. "I can't imagine going anywhere else. It really is too bad."
