Intoxicated Man Attacks Door In Westlake

The 22-year-old kicked and banged on doors on Weymouth Circle, then carved a door with a knife before police arrested him.

WESTLAKE, OH - An intoxicated 23-year-old Lakewood man raised a ruckus at a Weymouth Circle residence on March 24, eventually getting himself arrested. The man pounded on a stranger's door, then (potentially realizing his mistake) moved on to harassing the door of an apartment he had been in earlier.

Police say the man used a knife to damage the door. Officers eventually arrested the man for DCI and Carrying Various Weapons, namely the knife. Management of the residence chose not to pursue charges for the damage done to the door.
