Why go: You’ve heard him on the radio. Justin-Bieber-fan or not, learn the story of how this teen rose to fame with videos from his childhood to his young stardom in an intriguing documentary. The movie will air outdoors, so bring a blanket and relax at this free event that will appeal to the entire family.

Why go: This Tony Award-winning show was the Best Musical of 2006. Jersey Boys follows Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons’ rise to fame from a young age and is packed with great hits of theirs. Tickets start at $40 and this will be the show’s last week in Cleveland. Being the hometown of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Cleveland’s tickets sell out quickly. Not to mention, Jersey Boys continually gets rave reviews. Don’t miss it!

Why go: If you’re interested in writing, editing, or just plain reading, this is the group for you! The fiction meeting allows you to read other writers’ work and critique it in a group format. If you enjoy this week, continue attending and eventually submit your own work! The comedy workshop will instruct you on how to better inject humor into your writing, and a later meeting will have a speaker discuss a topic in the craft. New members are always welcome!

Why go: A free, feel-good, modern jazz concert at BAYarts. Maybe you’ve been meaning to meet up with a friend, set aside some time to read, go on a relaxing date? This is the perfect venue for some peaceful music in a calm atmosphere. Expect piano, snare, cello, and maybe even a saxophone.
Where/When: / 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Why go: Another free concert, and at a venue you probably pass daily! This all-male, a capella group will be performing outside at the . For those who aren’t aware, a capella groups have no back-up instruments: they use their voices to imitate backtracks. If you’re a fan of the show Glee, you’ll love Partners In Rhyme’s soulful sound. You shouldn’t miss this live a capella performance. Take the whole family!
