Man With Felony Warrant Found In Westlake
Police said they were looking for a stolen car when they found a man wanted by Elyria police.
WESTLAKE, OH — A tipster told Westlake police there was a stolen car in the parking lot of Barrington Place this month. Officers didn't find a stolen car, but they did find a man with a felony warrant for his arrest.
The tip came in at 10:45 p.m. on April 3, a Westlake police spokesperson said. Officers went to Barrington Place Apartments to investigate.
No stolen car was found in the parking lot, but a car alarm was blaring. A 27-year-old Elyria man was in the car. The man had a felony arrest warrant with Elyria police, so Westlake officers took him into custody.
