Math Demons Take Second Place in Equations Competition

The Lee Burneson Middle School Math Demons tied for second place in their division at the 2012 Equations competition at the Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga County.

Equations is a game developed by a University of Michigan professor using cubes to create equations.

Westlake's team of Jonathan Alamir, Alex Ikezawa, Taeho Kim, Austin Kinney and Ryan Zubricky and Chris Slater tied for second place among 7^th- and 8^th-graders with North Royalton.

Seventh-grader Carter Hoon took a third place individual award for his grade, as did eighth-grader Jonathan Alamir.
