Meth, Knives Found In Car At Westlake Gas Station: Police

Westlake police said three people have been accused of carrying weapons and possession of narcotics.

WESTLAKE, OH — Three West Virginia residents were taken into custody at a Westlake gas station after police found a large knife, methamphetamine, syringes and other drug paraphernalia in their possession.

On Feb. 22, at 6 p.m., staff at the Get Go, on Center Ridge Road, called police and said a suspicious man was hanging around the store, asking for gas money. Staffers said the man appeared to be wearing a gun.

When police arrived, the suspect was with two other people. A gun holster on the man's hip was empty, police said, and the man said he only carried a BB gun. The BB gun was sitting on the center console of the man's car.
