Oxycodone Powder Found During Westlake Traffic Stop: Police
Police said they also found crack pipes, burnt foil, and a knife inside the vehicle.

WESTLAKE, OH — Before a car passed over the Lorain County line on I-90, it was stopped by police. Inside, officers found oxycodone powder, crack pipes, burnt foil, and a knife.
The traffic stop happened at approximately 9:35 a.m. on Feb. 13. Police said the vehicle was speeding when officers pulled it over. There were two men in the car.
The driver said he was on his way to a job interview. The passenger in the car said he was just along for the ride. Officers thought something suspicious was going on, so a Westlake K9 officer was called to the scene.

The K9 sniffed the car and alerted officers. Police searched the vehicle and found oxycodone powder, crack pipes, and other suspicious items.

Both the driver and passenger, a 22-year-old and 20-year-old from Avon Lake, were arrested and taken into custody. They are being charged with felony possession of dangerous drugs.
