Patch Poll: Will You Pay Bank of America's Debit Card Fees?

Bank of America has announced that it will start charging a $5 monthly fee for debit card purchases early next year, reports Reuters.com.

And it's not just Bank of America that's increasing fees. According to The Washington Post, Wells Fargo will test out a $3 montly transaction fee next month and Chase has already started a $5 fee program in Wisconsin.

The news has gotten many Bank of America customers upset. Fox Business's Gerri Willis cut her own card up on the air Thursday night in protest and the bank's stock fell by 2 percent by Friday, a day after the news was announced, according to the BBC.
