WESTLAKE, OH — A pickup truck was stolen from outside a Westlake hotel last week, police announced.

On Nov. 23, police were sent to the Courtyard by Marriott on Sperry. A man said he parked his Ford F250 in the parking lot of the hotel on Nov. 22. When he came back the next morning, the truck was gone.

Police said the truck has been entered into the police databases for stolen vehicles.

The next day, Nov. 24, a Weymouth Circle resident reported that someone got into her car and stole her purse.

Police believe the woman left her car unattended for 10 minutes, at 4 p.m. The purse was sitting on the passenger seat of the car while she was gone. Officers think the purse was snatched during that time frame.
