Pills, Powder Found During Westlake Traffic Stop

Police said a car parked on Seneca Drive had pills, suspected marijuana and a grey powder inside.

WESTLAKE, OH — A grey powder, pills and suspected marijuana were found during a traffic stop on Jan. 28, Westlake police announced. The driver had numerous arrest warrants related to narcotics.

At 11:30 p.m. on Jan. 28, police were told there was a suspicious car parked on Seneca Drive. The driver, a 27-year-old Westlake woman, said she was waiting for a neighbor to come home because she was dog sitting.

The woman had numerous warrants for dangerous drugs, police said. Officers took the woman into custody and then found evidence of narcotics in her car, including pills, suspected marijuana, and a folded dollar bill with a grey powder inside, a police spokesperson said.

The suspected narcotics were collected by police and then sent to a crime laboratory for analysis and testing. Depending on the results of the test, the woman could face additional charges for narcotics.
