Planning Commission Member Sought In Westlake
Help lay out the design of the city and have your voice heard on what Westlake will look like in the future.

WESTLAKE, OH — The city's planning commission needs a new member. The commission is responsible for the planning and platting of the city. Duties may include making plans for zoning, the location or vacating of streets, the location and design of public buildings, etc. Meetings of the commission are held the first Monday of every month at 7 p.m. at City Hall.
The new member will need to be appointed by the mayor. Applicants should submit a letter of interest that includes background information. The letter should be sent to 27700 Hilliard Blvd.Westlake, OH 44145. Label it City of Westlake, Attn: Mayor’s Office.
So far in 2017, the commission has approved six projects, including Kerrington Estates 2, a collection of single-family lots, Q Lab, Security Self Storage, and others. A full list of the commission's approved projects can be found here.

- Brad Lamb, Chairman
- Phil DiCarlo
- Vacant Seat
- Duane Van Dyke
- Mark Getsay (City Council Representative)
