WESTLAKE, OH — Twenty-seven pounds of weed were found during a Westlake traffic stop on Monday, police said. Two people were arrested for trafficking in marijuana.
Officers stopped a car on I-90, near Crocker Road, at about 9:30 a.m. Police said they stopped the car for an equipment violation, though they didn't specify what that violation was.
After getting pulled over, police said the driver jumped into the backseat and the passenger in the car got behind the wheel. Suspecting criminal behavior, officers investigated and found both people in the car had suspended licenses.
