Ruth E. Thompson, 89, Mother of Five

Ruth E. (Parks) Thompson, 89, of Westlake died June 6.

She was born Nov. 24, 1922, in Ida, Ohio.

Thompson was the wife of the late Roy Thompson Jr., and the mother of Cheryl Harris, Jill Jones, Harley Thompson, Vicki Thompson and Janice Robinson. She was also the sister of the late Lowell Parks, Evelyn LaVine, James Parks and Vivian Smith. She had four grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday,  Aug. 31, at .
