Snapshot: A Day on the Porter Prairie
To help bring Laura Ingalls Wilder's famous book collection to life, librarians and parents organized a "Little House on the Prairie" day at Porter Public Library.
A group of little gals was invited to the Dover Room of Porter Public Library to participate in a little 19th-century fun on Tuesday.
Alongside librarians and parents, the girls crafted old-fashioned bonnets, made ice cream and danced the Virginia reel.
