Snapshot: WHS Students Against Destructive Decisions Celebrates 30 Years
Wednesday was declared WHS SADD Day in honor of the anniversary.

What was originally founded as Students Against Drunk Driving has evolved into Students Against Destructive Decisions, one of the country's most active youth-based drug and violence prevention programs.
On Wednesday, proclaimed it WHS SADD Day in honor of the local chapter's 30-year anniversary.
Established in 1981, SADD works to reduce the occurance of underage drinking, smoking, drug use, reckless driving, violence and suicide in young people.The WHS SADD chapter claims 40 regular members. To celebrate the anniversary WHS SADD members painted signs and made a balloon arch.

Throughout the year, the 40 members of WHS SADD sponsor an annual lock-in at the , attend an annual SADD seminar and work on awareness campaigns like Prom Promise and Red Ribbon Week.
