Spooky, Scary and Tasty Fun this Weekend
Don't be afraid! There's plenty to do in Westlake this weekend!

The Westlake Kiwanis Club is hosting their all-you-can-eat pancake breakfast from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in the cafeteria.
The breakfast includes unlimited pancakes, sausage, orange juice, milk and coffee. Price is $6 per person. Kids under 6 years old eat for free, and it's all for a good cause!

is hosting a Halloween Party and Pet Costume Contest at from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday.

Registration for the Pet Costume Contest starts at noon, with a $5 donation to the Cleveland Animal Protectice League. The contest starts at 12:30 p.m., with an awards ceremony at 1:15 p.m.
Then from 2 to 4 p.m., kids can trick-or-treat at and Promenade stores and restaurants. Note that not all stores may be participating in the trick-or-treating.
The Avon Parks and Recreation Department and the Avon Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts invite you to attend the second annual Avon Haunted Halloween Walk. Come dressed in your costume and be prepared to walk through the “haunted” woods at to trick or treat among ghosts, goblins and witches.
There will also be games, snacks, a hayride and lots of fun foreveryone ! This event is a family affair and is age appropriate for children 10 and younger. All children must be accompanied by an adult.
The costume contest begins at 10:30 a.m., and the haunted woods open at 11 a.m.
Spooky fun is in the air with this double feature in the Storytime Room at at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. First, Shrek gets in the Halloween spirit by challenging his friends to come up with scary stories. Next, the Monsters are challenged by mutant pumpkin Aliens bent on taking over the world!
All ages are welcome. Children under 9 years old must be accompanied by an adult. Registration for this event ends at 10 a.m. Saturday.
is hosting its 18th annual craft show from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Over 30 vendors will be peddling their homemade goods, and the church youth group will be hosting a bake sale to benefit their Adopt A Family holiday project.
Scissor and knife sharpening will also be available.
