St. John Medical Center Hosts Speed and Agility Summer Youth Camp

Increase sports performance, flexibility, injury prevention

WESTLAKE, Ohio-- St. John Medical Center will host a four-week speed and agility summer youth camp July 7 through July 30. The camp will meet for two hours every Tuesday and Thursday at the St. John Medical Center soccer fields, which is located at 9000 Center Ridge Road, Westlake, OH.

Like most kids’ summer camps, the program provides fun, friendship, outdoors, and exercise. But trained wellness coordinators and physical therapists will supervise the day’s activities so participants are safe at all times and optimize their body’s potential.

Kids will gain skills and knowledge to assist in sports performance, injury prevention, and being a team player. Certified professionals will teach participants how speed and agility training can enhance athletic ability. In addition, coordination, balance, and strength are to be emphasized. After the four-week training session, the kids will have improved athletic abilities and self-confidence.
