Suspected Magic Mushrooms, Weed, Cocaine Found In Car In Westlake
Police said they found suspected narcotics when they stopped a car on I-90 for a traffic violation.
WESTLAKE, OH — Suspected cocaine, marijuana and Psilocybin mushrooms were found during a traffic stop in Westlake, police said. The driver has been charged with possession of a controlled substance.
At 9:30 p.m. on Nov. 30, the last day of the month, officer stopped a car on I-90 east, at the Columbia Road exit, for a traffic violation. When police spoke with the driver, a 26-year-old man from Huron, he appeared nervous.
Police said there were signs of drug use and possession in the car. Officers searched the vehicle and found the suspected marijuana and mushrooms.

The driver was taken into custody for possession of controlled substances. While being taken to Westlake Jail, the driver said he had a small amount of cocaine in his possession. The suspected narcotics were also seized by police.
The driver now faces charges for possession of a controlled substance, police said.
