Suspects Identified In Theft In Westlake
Police said thousands of dollars of tools were stolen from a pair of work vans in late May. Officers have now identified the suspects.
WESTLAKE, OH — Two suspects have been identified in the theft of tools from work vans in Westlake, police announced.
Thousands of dollars of tools were stolen from a pair of work vans parked in Westlake on May 26. Someone smashed the windows out of the vans to get to the tools.
Surveillance video showed two people arriving in the parking lot in a black Ford Taurus on May 24. They broke into the vans and then took the tools, police said. The duo may be connected to similar tool thefts around Northeast Ohio.

The two suspects have been identified as a 29-year-old woman from Madison and a 41-year-old Cleveland man. Police said both suspects will be charged with felony theft.
