Suspects Steal Tools From Work Vans In Westlake
Police said two people broke windows out of work vans and stole thousands of dollars of tools.
WESTLAKE, OH — A man and woman broke into a pair of work vans parked at a Westlake business and stole tools, police announced. Investigators are hoping the public can identify the two suspects.
At 7 a.m. on May 26, workers discovered someone had broken the windows on two work vans. Thousands of dollars of tools had been taken, police said.
Surveillance video shows two people arriving in the parking lot in a black Ford Taurus on May 24. They broke into the vans and then took the tools, police said.

One suspect is a white man. In the video, he is wearing a dark red shirt and black, baggy shorts. The other suspect is a white woman. She is wearing blue jeans and a tan shirt. The pair are suspects in similar thefts throughout Northeast Ohio.
