Thanksgiving Arrest In Westlake, Man Huffed Dust Remover: Police

The suspect's mother called police after her son allegedly passed out during the holiday.

WESTLAKE, OH — A man huffing dust remover spray passed out and then ran out of a home on Detroit Road on Thanksgiving. Police were called to arrest the man.

The man's mother called police after her son passed out in the home. When officers arrived, the man was gone. His mother said he had "come to" and run out of the house.

Officers searched the area and found the man walking nearby. He was driven home.

After a short investigation, police discovered the man had been huffing dust remover spray, usually used for cleaning computer equipment. The effects had caused him to pass out, police said.

The man was arrested for abusing harmful intoxicants, a misdemeanor.
