Thief Steals Items From Crocker Park Apple Store

Police released images of a suspect believed to have stolen numerous Apple Pens from the store.

WESTLAKE, OH — Police are asking the public for help identifying a man that stole numerous Apple Pens, valued at more than $1,600, from the Apple Store at Crocker Park.

According to police, they were contacted by employees of the store on June 27. The staff said a man had come into the business a day earlier and removed several Apple Pens. The thefts occurred between 6 p.m. and 7:15 p.m.

Surveillance footage showed a white man, wearing a teal button down shirt, taking the pens. The man appeared to be talking on his cell phone the entire time he was in the store, police said.

Investigators asked the public for help identifying the man this week, releasing photographs from the surveillance footage with the hopes someone could identify the man.

Anyone with information on the suspect or the thefts should contact the Westlake Police Department Detective Bureau at 440-871-3311. Tipsters may remain anonymous.
