Trick-or-Treating To Proceed In Westlake
As Ohio health officials work on guidelines for Halloween, Westlake plans to let trick-or-treating move forward.
WESTLAKE, OH — Westlake plans to host trick-or-treating on Halloween evening.
Families can go door-to-door trick-or-treating from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Oct. 31. City officials initially said trick-or-treating would proceed if Gov. Mike DeWine did not bar the event. On Thursday, the governor announced trick-or-treating could proceed amid the COVID-19 pandemic.
DeWine did promise to release health guidelines for families to follow during the holiday, but the decision to hold trick-or-treating events was left to municipalities.
