Truck Jumps Curb Near Westlake Restaurant, Driver Passed out
Police said the driver showed signs of being intoxicated, but the driver refused to take any field or breath tests.

WESTLAKE, OH — A pickup truck jumped the curb in front of Houlihans Restaurant on Detroit Road and came to rest near a tree. The driver was found passed out in the driver's seat, police said.
Police were called to the restaurant a little after 6 p.m. on Saturday, September 8. Officers investigated the pickup and found the driver passed out in his seat.
After being woken up by officers, the 38-year-old driver, from Mansfield, seemed both confused and intoxicated, police said. He refused to take field sobriety tests and was arrested for operating a vehicle impaired.

The man later refused to take a breath test, police said.
The pick-up truck was towed from the scene and the driver was given a court date in Rocky River Municipal Court.
