Unconscious Customer Arrested At Westlake Bar, Police Say
The man was slipping in and out of consciousness. Witnesses told police he was a known heroin user.

WESTLAKE, OH — A man fell in and out of consciousness while visiting a Westlake restaurant and bar. Witnesses told police the man was known to use heroin, and emergency services took the man to a local hospital for treatment.
The incident began at about 7:45 p.m. on Jan. 31. Callers said a 26-year-old man at Bar Louie was slipping into and out of consciousness. The callers asked for police assistance.
When officers arrived, the man appeared intoxicated, police said. He started arguing with officers on the scene.

Witnesses then told police the man was known to use heroin. A search into the man's history unearthed a warrant for his arrest, for a drug-related probation violation.

The 26-year-old was taken into custody for disorderly conduct while intoxicated. He was then taken to a local hospital and released to medical staff. The man was given a court date for his disorderly conduct charge.
