The boys varsity basketball team was victorious over the hosting Midpark Meteors, 39-31, on Friday night.
Senior scored a game-high 17 points to lead the Demons (10-8, 9-4 in the Southwestern Conference). He only needed 6 points to put him at 200 points for the season. Junior Grant Gase added 10 points for Westlake.
Junior Kyle Heineke and senior Cody Shimell each scored 10 points to pace the Meteors (5-13, 1-11 SWC).

In junior varsity action, Westlake topped Midpark, 41-30.
