The girls basketball team overcame a determined Brunswick team to capture the Division I Medina District championship by the score of 50-47 on Saturday.
Demons' senior Kalpana Beach led all scorers with 28 points including some clutch free-throws down the stretch to secure the victory.
The Blue Devils' (13-11) trio of Erica Eubank, Gabrielle Bulic, and Annie Sofranko combined for 35 points in the loss.
