VIDEO: Westlake Girls Fall To Midpark In Regionals, 67-48
Trujillo, Beach and Carroll combine for 45 points in the loss.
The Westlake Demons girls basketball team had their season come to an abrupt end at the hands of the Midpark Meteors, 67-48, on Tuesday night at Strongsville High School in the first round of the Division I Regional Tournament.
Westlake's (21-4) trio of Rachel Trujillo, Kalpana Beach, and Katie Carroll combined to score 45 points, with Beach leading the way with 18 points and Carroll following with 17 points.
Midpark (22-2) freshman forward Stasha Carey matched Beach with 18 points to lead the Meteors in scoring.

Midpark advances to play Toledo Start (22-2) in the Division I Regional Finals at Norwalk High School on Saturday afternoon. Game time is 1:00 p.m.
