Vomiting Man Overdoses In Westlake Hotel Lobby: Police

According to police, a man walked into the lobby of a Clemens Road hotel and began vomiting and overdosing on Tuesday afternoon.

WESTLAKE, OH - A vomiting man overdosed in the lobby of a Westlake hotel on Tuesday, according to Westlake police.

At about 1:45 p.m., officers were called to the Double Tree Hotel on Clemens Road. Staff told police a man was in the lobby and appeared to be overdosing. The man was not a guest of the hotel, according to police reports.

When police arrived, the man was vomiting. He told police he had snorted heroin, so officers gave him Narcan, an anti-overdose drug.

Westlake fire took the man to the hospital. When he left the hotel, the man was conscious and breathing, police said.

No charges have been filed against the man and investigators continue to look into what happened, police said.
