Wallet Stolen At Crocker Park, Credit Cards Used In Ohio

An employee at a Crocker Park store had her wallet stolen recently. Her credit cards have already been used to make purchases.

WESTLAKE, OH — Someone stole a wallet from an employee at a Crocker Park store last week, according to a Westlake police spokesperson. Credit cards in the wallet have subsequently been used at stores around Northeast Ohio.

The employee discovered her wallet was missing at 9:30 p.m. on November 9. She told police her wallet was inside her purse, which had been stored while she was working at a business in Crocker Park.

Investigators learned that after the theft the woman's credit cards were used at a Target in Avon and a Macy's in North Olmsted. Police did not say how much money was spent at the businesses.

Investigators are working with the Target and Macy's to develop leads on who stole the woman's wallet and who has been using her credit cards.
