Westlake 8th Grader Still Missing

Police say they followed up on a couple of tips but Chloe Bowersock has not been found.

WESTLAKE, OH - Chloe Bowersock, an 8th grade student at Lee Burneson Middle School, is still missing, police say. She was reported missing Dec. 12 after she left her home, without permission, during the night.

Captain Guy Turner of Westlake Police says the department has followed up on a couple of tips on her whereabouts, but Bowersock was not there.

Chloe has brown eyes, brown hair, is about 5'3", and weighs 120 pounds. She does not have a cell phone. She has a mental illness which requires medication and she has not taken that medication since leaving home.

Chloe is formerly from Lorain and has run away several times before, often being located in abandoned buildings in that city and/or with bad companions. She also frequents Elyria and Amherst.

If spotted, citizens should call their local police agency or Westlake Police at 440.871.3311.

Chloe last ran away on Nov. 24. Police found her at a home in Lorain on Nov. 27.
