The Board will discuss, in executive session, employee evaluations, collective bargaining, and the possible purchase of property.

WESTLAKE, OH - The Westlake Board of Education is holding a special meeting on Monday night to discuss the acquisition and sale of possible property and to evaluate district employees. The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Parkside Administrative Building, 24525 Hilliard Blvd., Westlake, Ohio.
Most of the major issues for Monday's meeting will be discussed in executive session, meaning they will be discussed behind closed doors. Included among the executive session topics are collective bargaining, district employee evaluations, and evaluation of property.
Boards of education may call an executive session to discuss confidential personnel evaluations, to consider the purchase of property, and to discuss tactics for collective bargaining, according to Ohio code.
