Westlake Car Break-Ins: 2 Men Arrested After Search
A months-long investigation into a series of vehicular break-ins ended with two arrests, Westlake Police announced.

WESTLAKE, OH — Police have identified, tracked down, and arrested two men suspected of breaking into cars parked in driveways on Marshfield Boulevard. The suspects allegedly stole credit cards from the vehicles and went on a spending spree at area stores.
The initial vehicular break-ins happened Oct. 8, police said. All of the targeted cars were parked in driveways overnight. For nearly two months, police investigated the thefts and tracked the suspects.
Then, in late November, police got word that several credit cards stolen from the Marshfield vehicles were being used in stores nearby, including a Get Go Store in Avon. Police dug into these leads and identified two suspects.
