Westlake Football Players Sign Letters Of Intent For College Ball
Three Westlake Demon football players announced their plans to continue their athletic careers at the Division I collegiate level.

WESTLAKE, OH — Three Westlake High football players signed letters of intent to play collegiate football on Wednesday. All three players will continue their athletic careers at Division I programs.
Jackson Gregory, an offensive lineman, will head to the University of Louisville in the fall. His two teammates, Kevin Walls and JJ Coleman, committed to the University of Akron Zips.
Gregory was a four-year letter winner in football, and a two-year letter winner in lacrosse. During his tenure at Westlake, he twice named All SWC Honorable Mention and 2nd Team All SWC. While playing for the Demons, he played both offensive and defensive line. At Louisville, as a Cardinal, he'll focus primarily on the offensive side of the ball.

Gregory plans to major in exercise science at Louisville.
Coleman accepted a preferred walk-on spot at Akron. He led the Demons in rushing each of the past two seasons, with 2,000 yards rushing each year. He has been named an Honorable Mention and 1st Team All SWC player during his Westlake career.

Coleman plans to major in business at Akron.

Walls, a wide receiver, was a three-year letter winner for the Demons in both football and track. He has a chance to become a four-year letter winner for the school in track this year. He was named First Team All SWC in track in the 100M dash, 200M dash, the 4x100 relay, and the 4x200 relay. He was also an All Region selection in the 4x200 relay. As a football player, Walls led the Demons in receiving yards and receiving touchdowns. He has a 3.5 GPA.
Walls plans to major in cybersecurity at Akron.
