Westlake Police Unlock Man's Car For Him, Find Weed Inside
The man lost his car keys and locked himself out of his car. So he asked police for help...forgetting the marijuana in his car.

WESTLAKE, OH — Police were asked to help a man that had locked his keys in his car on early Thursday morning at Crocker Park. When officers arrived and opened up the car, they were greeted by the overwhelming smell of marijuana.
It was about 1:30 a.m. when Westlake Police were asked to help a man locked out of his own vehicle. The dispatched officer immediately saw a glass pipe and grinder sitting in the center console of the man's vehicle. Once the door was open, the smell of marijuana wafted out.
The caller, a 27-year-old from Lorain, was allowed back into his car. He then realized...his car keys were actually in his sweatshirt...which he had left in a restaurant in Crocker Park. He was busted for marijuana possession because he forgot where his car keys were.
