Westlake Recreation Minor League Team Brings The Thunder
These fourth and fifth-graders may still be in the minors, but they follow the majors.
The Westlake Recreation Minor League is composed of ten teams: the Bats, Bees, Bulls, Hooks, Mudcats, Mudhens, River Bandits, Sand Gnats, Scrappers and Thunder. Each team is named after a real Minor League Baseball team.
When it comes to Major League Baseball, the team favorite is the Cleveland Indians, but each Thunder team member has his own favorite player.
