Westlake Robotics Club Places At Competition
. The Robotics Competition was held in conjunction with the 9th annual Northeast Ohio Educational Technology Integration Conference.

From LBMS: Four Lee Burneson Middle School Robotics Club team members brought home awards in the recent NEOTech Robotics Competition at Kent State University.
Eighth-grade students Neige DeAngelis, Patrick McIntyre, JP Mogyordy and David Schulz placed 2nd and 3rd in tactile and non-tactile categories in the Maze event. The Robotics Competition was held in conjunction with the 9th annual Northeast Ohio Educational Technology Integration Conference.
Westlake students competed against students from Streetsboro, Tallmadge, Springfield and Copley-Fairlawn in three events – Botball, Sumo and Maze. This was the first time an LBMS team participated in the contest. Their participation was made possible by an LBMS PTA grant to buy an additional robot for competition.
