The newly created position will help organize alumni events, fundraisers, and maintain an alumni database.

WESTLAKE, OH — The Westlake Schools have a new alumni coordinator. Megan Moutoux will take on the newly created role.
Westlake Superintendent Scott Goggin said he wants to improve the district's connection to alumni.
“Strengthening this bond starts when our students are in our schools,” Goggin said. “Megan will work to engage our future alumni with our current alumni by acting as a liaison between the Westlake Schools and alumni.”

Moutoux is a class of 1992 Westlake alum. She will serve as a liaison between alumni and the school district, helping organize reunions and get-together events, fundraisers, and maintaining a database of alums.
“I’m proud of where I came from, and I want the current students to be proud and transition to alumni who are connected to their school,” Moutoux said. She said she wants to serve as a "one-stop shop" for all things alumni.

Goggin believes Moutoux personifies Westlake pride.
