The celebration is not limited to free admission, either. The visitors on Sunday will have an educational experience about the mothering habits of the animals at the zoo and can even get up close and personal with some of the smaller animals.

Pamper Mom at Home
Keep things intimate this year with a low-key, family-only celebration and make sure Mom is with all of her children to celebrate. Don't let her touch a thing to prepare, but pamper her instead. Take shifts between family members to cook and entire meal for Mom while she relaxes and enjoys the company. After all, she cooked for everyone else how many times? Have the kids give Mom a massage, paint her nails or clean the house from top to bottom while she reads a book or takes a luxurious bubble bath. Later on, bust out the old photo albums and reminisce or just let the conversation flow naturally and enjoy each other.
Invite Mom along for a full brunch spread for celebration and to help out a great cause! All of the proceeds from the brunch and a Chinese auction that follows the meal, will be given to the Westlake Assistance Program, which directly benefits members in the community who are in need. Purchase tickets through the Center for Community Services. Three seating times at 9 a.m., 10:30 a.m. and 12 p. m. allow flexibilty if you have church or other engagements. Tickets are $10 for adults and children aged 11 and up, $5 for children ages 10 and under and free for children under 3.
