Woman Overdoses In Walgreen's Parking Lot In Westlake

Police said the woman needed two doses of Narcan to be revived.

WESTLAKE, OH — A 29-year-old woman overdosed in the parking lot of a Walgreens last week in Westlake, police said.

On Tuesday, at about 2:40 p.m., officers were called to the Walgreens on Center Ridge Road. Callers said there appeared to be a woman overdosing in her car in the parking lot.

When officers arrived they found a 29-year-old woman in her car. She was unresponsive, so she was given two doses of Narcan, an anti-opioid overdose drug. After receiving Narcan, the woman began to revive, police said.
