Here are the top 3 stories today in Oklahoma City:

  1. Five more Oklahoma City Public Schools sites have shifted to virtual learning. Following a Board of Education meeting on Monday, district officials announced that Capitol Hill High School, Webster Middle School, Putnam Heights Academy, Van Buren Elementary, and Fillmore Elementary had been moved to asynchronous learning for the remainder of the week. Ten campuses in all are now being affected by the temporary but indefinite closures caused by COVID-19 case data. (Oklahoma City Free Press)
  2. The City of Oklahoma City released its first draft of its ward redistricting map on Tuesday. Higher growth rates on the north and west sides prompted the redistricting of the city's eight wards. City officials will hold a virtual town hall meeting at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24 to answer questions and receive input on the new redistricting plan. (News On 6)
  3. Wings, a local nonprofit, has teamed up with the Oklahoma City Ballet for a new initiative. The program will provide dance classes to adults with developmental disabilities. Organizers say they hope the ballet classes will help participants stay active and moving. (News On 6)
