Vallejo, California Poet Laureate Emerita D.L. Lang is an internationally published poet whose work appears in over 90 anthologies globally.
She is the author of 18 books of poetry, and the editor of three anthologies, including Poetry is Dead II by Hercules Publishing. Her poems have been transformed into songs, most recently for the album Headline Antidote.
Her top three favorite literary accomplishments include being a three time Woody Guthrie poet, having work included in the upcoming Billy Bragg: A People’s History, and her poem “American Dream” is archived on the moon as part of the Lunar Codex. She holds degrees from the University of Oklahoma and Northern Oklahoma College.
