  • Residential trash customers can stack tree and limb debris at the curb for pickup starting around Thanksgiving. The limbs should be cut into sections no longer than 10 feet. Debris shouldn’t cover water meters or obstruct fire hydrants. Don’t stack debris in the street, and keep lanes of traffic clear. Read more here.
  • Residential trash customers can take tree and limb debris to one of four participating Oklahoma City landfills from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday through Jan. 2. Read more here.
  • Residents in rural areas may burn tree debris if they have a burn permit from the Fire Marshal’s Office. Read more here. With a permit, permission is needed each day of burning by calling the burn permit hotline at (405) 316-6843. Permit fees must be paid before burning.

Commercial properties (including apartment complexes, schools, churches and businesses) are responsible for their own debris removal. There is no curbside pickup or free landfill drop-off for commercial properties.
