Free Landfill Days Available For Oklahoma City Residential Trash Customers For Ice Storm Debris

The program is open to residential Oklahoma City trash customers.

Last week’s ice storms left Oklahoma City residents with a big mess. To help, the Utilities Department is offering free landfill service for customers who receive an Oklahoma City utility bill for trash service. Participating landfills will be open from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. every Saturday through Jan. 2.

The program is open to residential Oklahoma City trash customers. It’s limited to tree and limb debris only – no bagged waste or other materials will be accepted.

Customers must present a current City of Oklahoma City utility bill and a government issued ID, like a driver’s license, with a matching address to drop off debris.

Commercial waste haulers are not included in this free service.

Customers may drop off debris using a passenger vehicle or truck (up to 1 ton) and one trailer up to 16 feet long.
