• McClain County Health Dept. moves to new location (newcastlepacer.com) — McClain County Health Department is relocating its main office to 1726 N. Green Ave. in Purcell, with doors reopening to the public on Friday, November 13. During the November 6–13 move, Purcell-area residents can still get services at the Blanchard clinic, and the department’s phone number will stay the same for appointments and questions.

• County 4-H Shotgun coach needed (newcastlepacer.com) — McClain County 4-H is looking for a volunteer shotgun coach, with support and equipment provided through the county program and the OSU Extension office in Purcell. Adults with firearm safety, hunting, or youth mentoring experience can apply after completing a background check and a two-day certification course. If you want to help local kids learn safe shooting and sportsmanship, now is the time to step up.
