- Tulsa County approves $4 million expansion for the Oklahoma State University's Medical Center. The funding from the American Rescue Plan will be allocated to support infrastructure improvements including a new veterans hospital and psychiatric hospital. The new veterans hospital will be located in downtown Tulsa at 7th Street and Houston Ave. (kjrh.com)
- A new program helps provide fresh produce to Tulsa families with Type 2 Diabetes. Fresh RX has partnered with Oklahoma farmers, community partners, and patients at Crossover Health Services to bring fresh, locally grown produce to 52 participants with dangerously high A1C levels and Type 2 diabetes. Participants in the Fresh RX food program are seeing lowered A1C levels in just 19 weeks. (news9.com KWTV)
- Downtown Tulsa businesses say Tulsans are not adhering to the August 26 mask resolution. (KTUL)
- The Humane Society of Tulsa rescued close to 20 dogs living in "filth" on an abandoned property in Pittsburgh County on Sunday. (KTUL)
