All Tulsa Children 18 And Under Can Receive Four Days Of Grab-And-Go Meals For Memorial Day Break On May 26 At Tulsa Public Schools

Meals will be available for pick up on Wednesday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

On Wednesday, May 26, Tulsa Public Schools will serve all Tulsa children ages 18 and under four days’ worth of breakfast, lunch, and dinner meals free of charge to provide meals for the Memorial Day holiday! Meals will be available for pick up on Wednesday, May 26 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. If you bring your child with you to meal pick-up, you do not need to show identification. Service locations are available on the district’s website at www.tulsaschools.org/mealsites.

While parents who bring their child to the meal-sites and stops will not have to provide ID, you can also can pick up meals without having your student present with one of the following forms of student identification:

  • School report card, student ID card or Clever (distance learning) log-in badge;
  • Child’s passport; birth certificate; government-issued child identification card;
  • Text message from the district’s short-code (67-587); or
  • Any document providing parent/guardian identity and relationship to the child, such as an adoption decree; doctor, clinic, or hospital record; religious record; or daycare center record.

Friday, May 28 will be the final day for all children to receive supper meals free of charge, as the federal program extension ends at the close of the current school year. From June 1 to August 12, the district’s Summer CafΓ© program will continue to provide nutritious meals free of charge to all Tulsa children ages 18 and younger.
