Family & Children's Services acquires Center for Therapeutic Interventions (kjrh.com) — Two major Tulsa mental health providers, Family & Children's Services and the Center for Therapeutic Interventions, are merging to expand addiction and recovery care without disrupting current services. Leaders say combining staff and treatment approaches should strengthen substance use programs across Tulsa, with the community expected to see the full impact of the partnership starting in 2027.

ON THIS DAY River Parks official says it's time to take back Turkey Mountain trails (tulsaworld.com) — Increased Tulsa Police presence and new signage at Turkey Mountain aim to reassure visitors after two reported attacks at the popular urban wilderness area. River Parks officials say they want residents to feel safe returning to the trails, which now draw hundreds of thousands of users each year.

Tulsa man stabbed in the head while sleeping, police say (ktul.com) — Tulsa police are investigating after a man was stabbed in the head while sleeping near 1300 South Detroit Avenue early Saturday morning. The victim, who is expected to survive, told officers an unknown man attacked him before fleeing, and investigators are still searching for a suspect.
   

4. South Tulsa adoption event gives dogs and cats a chance to find families (fox23.com) — Families in South Tulsa spent Saturday meeting adoptable dogs and cats at a local event hosted at the Richardson Richardson Bordeaux office in partnership with Okie Pet Rescue. Organizers say they want to help Tulsa shelters connect more pets with homes, and residents can still browse available animals online if they missed the event.
