Inola aluminum smelter developer answers questions about fluoride, environment safeguards (fox23.com) — Developers of the proposed aluminum smelter at the Tulsa Port of Inola are answering farmers' concerns about fluoride emissions and promising advanced pollution controls that they say could capture about 99% of fluoride. The project, still under Oklahoma DEQ review and facing legal challenges, could bring at least 1,000 permanent jobs while potentially reshaping the economy and environment just outside Tulsa.

Tulsa woman warns others after scammers tried to empty her bank account (newson6.com) — A Tulsa woman is sharing how scammers nearly drained her bank account, hoping neighbors recognize the same red flags before money disappears. After a fake fraud text and convincing phone call, she realized the caller's questions and payment instructions were suspicious and now urges Tulsans to ignore links, hang up, and contact their bank only through trusted numbers or apps.
   

3. U of A Landscape Architecture Alumna Rooted in Practice, Growing Toward Regulation (uark.edu) — A Tulsa landscape architect who runs Skii Landscape Architecture has spent decades shaping local residential yards, city bicycle trails, and Tulsa River Parks while also helping set professional standards statewide. After moving to Tulsa in 1997, she built a long-running firm, now balances practice with regulatory work on Oklahoma's licensing board, and encourages young designers here to seek mentors and pursue licensure early.
   

4. 'ABSOLUTELY HEROES!': Bystanders save tennis player's life at Tulsa club (kjrh.com) — Two nurses are being honored after reviving a tennis player who collapsed at Tulsa Tennis Club, using CPR and an AED before EMSA arrived. The man fully recovered, and EMSA says their quick action shows how bystanders can dramatically improve survival odds in cardiac emergencies, encouraging Tulsans to learn basic lifesaving skills.
