• CREOKS plans new 62-bed substance use treatment center near Tulsa-Creek County line (fox23.com) — A new 62-bed substance use treatment center is planned near the Tulsa–Creek County line, offering both detox and residential care in existing buildings on West 61st Street. CREOKS expects zoning approval this year, with construction starting early next year and capacity to serve about 1,700 treatment episodes annually for people across Green Country.
• CLEAN AUDITS: Recent inspections find no violations at Tulsa County Juvenile Detention Home (kjrh.com) — Tulsa County's Juvenile Detention Home is now getting clean audits, with recent inspections finding no violations after earlier reports of serious problems. Leaders credit new mental health support, incentive programs, and other reforms with sharply reducing youth grievances and improving conditions for both staff and residents at the Tulsa facility.
• Families of fentanyl victims continue awareness efforts (fox23.com) — Families gathered in downtown Tulsa to honor loved ones lost to fentanyl and push for stronger awareness, filling a plaza with more than 160 memorial posters. Tulsa County's district attorney and other leaders highlighted new state laws on fentanyl education and child-welfare testing, while advocates stressed the urgent need to prevent more local deaths.
